Strateg-TI Consulting Inc. is committed to protecting all personal information collected and used in the course of its business. Our Privacy Policy sets out our standards for the collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your personal information, as well as your right of access to it.
Definition and purpose of collecting personal information
Personal information means data that relates to an ‘identifiable individual.’ This includes information that, alone or combined with other data, can identify you as an individual. Professional information, such as corporate email addresses and business telephone numbers, is not considered personal information under the Act.
Your privacy on our website
When you access our website (https://www.strateg-ti.biz/), your computer and our server automatically exchange data. This exchange is necessary for the server to send you files compatible with the equipment you are using.
The data exchanged include:
- The identification of your Internet service provider and your IP address (the numerical address that precisely identifies a computer connected to the Internet, e.g., 123.45.67.890);
- The type of browser (e.g., Firefox, Chrome, Explorer) and operating system (e.g., Windows, Mac OS) you are using;
- The pages you visit;
- The date and time of your access;
- The referring website address, if you accessed our site from another website.
Most of the information automatically transmitted between computers does not reveal your identity. It is collected only because of the technological requirements inherent in Internet browsing.

Responsibility
We are responsible for protecting the personal information we hold, including any information we share with third parties. Where applicable, such third parties will be clearly identified in the relevant consent form and are subject to the same standards and regulations as our company.
As required by law, we have appointed a Privacy Officer who oversees this policy as well as the processes and procedures in place to protect your personal information. All of our employees are made aware of this policy and have been trained to comply with it strictly.
How do we protect your personal information?
We will protect personal information against loss, theft, unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction by implementing appropriate administrative, technical, and physical safeguards in accordance with industry best practices.
Retention of information
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected. The retention, disposal, and destruction of personal information are carried out in accordance with the Government of Canada’s Directive on Privacy Practices and our Policy for the Management, Anonymization, and Destruction of Personal Information, which is available upon request from our Privacy Officer.
Request for access and modifications
You have the right to access or correct your personal information. You may also submit questions about how and for what purposes we use your personal information. We will respond to such requests within five (5) business days of receiving your written request. You may only request information that concerns you, unless otherwise permitted or required by law.
